The GAIN Method
Random tutorials teach isolated tricks. You learn a transition here, an effect there — and still don't know how it fits together.
GAIN connects the whole picture: your setup, your music preparation, your mixing, how you build a set and how you think when you're actually playing. One practical sequence, step by step.
Setup, preparation and mixing technique taught in the order you actually need them.
Phrasing, energy and selection — why a transition works, not just how to trigger it.
Develop taste and judgment so your sets start to sound like you.

The Beginner course is designed as an eight-week sequence. Video instruction, practical exercises and insight from real gigs — with time between modules to actually practise.
Each week, a new module of video lessons covering one part of the craft — planned to unlock weekly in Podia.
Exercises to work through on your own setup before moving on. This is where the real learning happens.
Earlier modules stay available while you're enrolled, so you can revisit and build on what you've learned.

“DJing has changed dramatically since I started in 1997 — the music, the technology, the clubs and the crowds. I've spent my career evolving with it. GAIN brings that experience into a practical learning path built for DJs today.”
Clubs, festivals, events and international work — including years living and playing in London and seasons in Tignes.
More about JanusIt takes listening. Preparing. Repeating the same blend until it feels natural. Making mistakes and learning from them.
It's also the best way to find out whether this craft is really for you — and if it is, what kind of DJ you want to be.
